I am not sure if this is too important, but the name of the town is Green Valley, Illinois, not Greenville. I am the great granddaughter of Nellie Banta and Mason Black and found this posting just doing a search of their names. It's amazing to see some family connections here. My grandparents, Mildred Black Suffield and Harlan Suffield are also buried in the Green Valley cemetery - it's attached to the Methodist church. They both grew up in the town.
