My gggrandfather was Abraham Banta born KY 1800, married Elizabeth Thorp. They moved to Mo. about 1834, farmed in Henry County. In the 1870 Fed. Census they are listed there, but nothing shows up after that. Their youngest son James and family moved to Colorado after 1870. Altho some family records state Abraham died in Mo. 1882, others list Colo. In fact, they both have headstones in a Beaver Creek Cemetary, but I wonder if both are buried there. I would like to know if they did move to Colo., and if so where did they live? Any information on this family is appreciated. Thanks!
