Henry b. Jan. 23, 1820 m. Sarah Angle. S/o Jacob & second wife, Sophia romer. She was born Jun 20, 1800 & died May 16, 1853. Jacob bought land from his father - 193 acres- at west Milford, Passaic Co., NJ. Jacob died Jul 19, 1834. His first wife was Maria Storms. Had 2 children by her & 6 by Sophia.
Jacob s/o Hendrick & Maria Bogert Banta. She was born aug. 26, 1769. They lived NYC & had a grocery store, then moved to Bergen Co., NJ where he farmed. Had 7 ch.
Hendrick b. Aug 4, 1762 was s/o Jacob & Lena Ackerman Banta. Jacob died 6 weeks after birth of Hendrick.
Jacob b. Aug. 4, 1728 was s/o Wiert & Mary Demarest. Had 11 ch.
Wiert b. ayg 19 1862 was s/o Weart Epke & Gerritje Mandeville Banta Had 4 ch.
Wiert s/o Epke Banta - immigrant from Holland
