I an looking for any information on Henry Banta of Newfoundland, Passaic county, New Jersey. All I know at this time is Henry married a Sarah Angle and had eleven children. Three of these children's names were: Henry, John J. and Charles G. (John and Charles both fought on the side of the North in the Civil War.
Henry's sixth son, Henry married a Helen A. Green on September 14, 1873 and had a total of nine children.
In 1871, Henry and Helen relocated to Northeastern Pennsylvania finally settling in Broderick's Kingston township where he was engaged in minining.
Any further information on this line of Bantas would be a great help.
