Rachel Banta b. 18July1815 m. John Stine. She is my gggrandfather's older sister. She is nineth born of Jacob Banta and Mary/Maria Banta (Jacob and Mary were cousins)My William Henry Banta b. 25Feb1818 m. Elvira Page and was the 10th and last born of this family. I have been contacted by a descendant of Albert Banta m. Rachel b. Commingore, Albert was b. 15Sept1806 and was the 5th child. I have some information on Jacob Banta and his family while living in Woodford Co., Ind.
