Lana,
The closest I can get to a Peter S. Banta b. 1799 in KY is:

Peter D. Banta b. 14-Sep-1799 son of Daniel Banta b. 13-Sep-1762, Bergen Co., NJ. Daniel m. Mary Voorhees. They had 11 children. I don't know where their children were born, however. I believe this information came from the T.M. Banta book.
