I need your help explaining something in the 1850 Census

I've been trying to trace an acestor of mine, Rachel Rogers. I know that she married George W. Allison in the fall of 1850 in Clark Twp, Johnson Co., IN. The 1850 Census shows a Rachel Rogers, of the appropriate age, living not too far from George W. Allison.

Can anyone help me explain her living situation-here's what I found in the Census (pg 11, Clark Twp, Johnson Co., IN).

Micheal Heagins (may be mispelled, it was very difficult to read his name), age 71, farmer, England
Susanna Heagins, 52, Pennsylvania
Layfayette 13, Indiana
Nelson, 11, Indiana
Nancy Banta 23, Ohio
Samuel P. Rogers, 20, farmer, Ohio
Rachel Rogers, 18, Indiana
Elias Rogers, 15, farmer, Indiana
Margaret Banta, 2, Indiana
Mary J. Banta, 5, Indiana
