George,

I don't think the books that are available are obtainable any longer. I have a copy of Banta Pioneers by Elsa M. Banta when i bought my copy from her directly in 1987 it was the last one she had told me. There was also a gentleman who in 1987 was aroun 90 years old then he was a still practicing attorney, but if you can lay your hands on any of his works, he was very knowledgeable his name is or was Franklin Frick from Sioux City Iowa, i know that the Henry County Library in Kentucky did have some of his publishings as did Mercer County Library, in kentucky. And stuck in a box here somewhere i have a copy of some info he sent me on VanArsdales and the Banta's i think not for sure tho that it was called "A Friesan Family" but i may have that mixed up with something else. I will continue to look to help u out.
Tammy
