I wanted to thank you for all you sent me on the Bantas. I have been so busy with school that I didn't get to enter the information until yesterday. Some of it I had, but there was some I didn't. Where you (Brian) descend from Hendrick and Rachel Brouwer, I descend from his second marriage. My Bantas wound up in Switzerland Co., IN and a Martha Banta married William Viles. They moved to Polk Co., MO. A cousin of mine has written a book of descendants of William and Martha Banta Viles. It looks pretty complete. There isn't much "history" as far as what they did, land they bought, moves they made, etc. but you can see the children, grandchildren, etc. Anne
