By my Grandmother's account, her Grandfather was James Harrison Dunham (b.2/26/1835, d.11/8/1868), the son of James Dunham
(1797-1850) and Catherine Banta (1798-1880). James Harrison Dunham married Mary Arminda Seaman (1836-1873), the daughter of
John Seaman and Matilda Lee (1811-1847). Other researchers on the Internet have confirmed the marriage of James Dunham and
Catherine Banta, but none have included James Harrison Banta as their child. My Grandmother's application to the DAR was accepted
based on that link, but I'm hoping that someone out there can provide a second confirmation.
