I am looking for info on my g.g.grandmother who was married to James Maher of Templemore. Their son John Maher was born in Templemore on 2/5/1876 ( died there 1954) and the birth records state that his mother was Bridget Banon. Banon is an alternative spelling to Bannon. I have no idea where she came from, but guess Tipperary. Probably born about 1856 if John was her first child, but could be earlier.I can find nothing on any other search site.
