My John was born in Piqua, Ohio in 1826. He had 15 or more children by two wives, Rebecca White and Naomi Gallion. I am interested in his parents and grandparents. A Michael and Jeremiah Bannon came to PA and Michael to Ohio. Michael had a brother John and a son John. Jeremiah also had a John and each child, of which there were about 20 from these two brothers, had Johns. Michael went to Warren Co., OH. My John's son John was born in IN near Rosedale. It seems several of the Bannons bought property in or near Rosedale but across the county line toward Terre Haute. I have most of the descendants of John and Naomi to the present time. However, I do not have any record of surviving children of the first marriage except for Mary Bannon who was 1/2 sister to my grandmother. I have some information on the Gallions. A Mary Gallion married a George Washington Baughman (Bockman) from Terre Haute. They went to KS with John and upon his death raised my grandmother. They finally moved to Leavenworth, KS after living in Nevada, MO and Sedgewick Co., KS. If this info connects with your bible, would be glad to exchange. I can be reached at
