Patrick Bannon

Sorry it took so long to respond. There is some confusion about which Patrick I am a decendent of. My cousin has told me that we are decendents of Thomas who would be Patrick's brother. They both came from Ireland at the same time. My great grandmother's name was Mary Murray. Both brothers had a son Patrick. Patrick and Julia's son was born around 1858 and Thomas and Rosannah's son was born around 1861(according to census records). I have researched the Patrick and Julia side as that was the direction my father (Basil Bannon) sent me. His father was William Gratton, married Mary Keelan. Willam Gratton's father would be the son, Patrick, of either Thomas or Patrick. My father said that his grandfather was referred to as "PL" for "Patrick Lawrence". I would like to find out which branch of the tree I am on! If you have any information, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
