You say that: Thomas Jefferson Banister was the grandson of Col. John Banister who commanded a regiment in the Virginia Revolutionary Army during the years 1778-1781.

Can you tell me by which of Col. John's sons your Thomas Jefferson Banister was born?

I have seen nothing to indicate that the Col. had a grandson named Thomas Jefferson BANISTER. Please elaborate on this. What is your documentation on it. I have seen several claims that this line descends from Colonel John and though I have asked and asked, no one has presented anything to confirm it and I have found nothing to support it. I have done a lot of work on this family and believe I have accounted for all of his children and hopefully his grandchildren but I have no Thomas Jefferson Banister connected to the Col. John Banister family. I would love for someone to lay this one to rest for me. Any proof you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Sincere Regards,
Vivian Eakes Hull
