Hello,My name is Rick Scoles and i'am doing research on my gr.gr.grandparents Reuben Scoles,Martha Louisa Banning (Scoles).In Martha's obituary it say's she was born in Georgia on May 3,1843.When she was three years old she with her parents moved to Shelby Co.Ill. . On Oct.12,1871 she married Reuben Scoles,they had five children: Melvin,John,Ezra,Eva.One son died Sept.16,1901. Martha died on May 2,1931,age 87years old,she was buried in Red Bank cemetery,south of Lakewood Ill.Her grandsons were her pallbearers:Kenneth Hopper,Lucien Jones,Elmer Scoles,Charles Scoles,Harry Stoddard,Charles Askins.Any info. would be helpful.
