The Elizabeth Banning which married Joe Mac Smith was the daughter of Benjamin Andrew Banning and Caroline M. Cordin.
Information which I have shows she was born abt 1858 in Polk Co MO. She married Joe Mac Smith in 1883 in Independence Co AR. The marriage license is in the court house records.
Benjamin Andrew went to Shelby Co Illinois and then to Polk Co MO. They came to Independence Co AR in the 1880's. Emmail me if you would like more information. Joan
