I have a very full trail of Bannings in Canada. There are some details missing though. Elisha Banning born abt. 1778 in Lyme CT. immigrated to Quebec, the Ottawa Valley in 1802, Married Anna Burtch of Vermont in 1808 at St. Andrews E. in 1819 settled in La Chute. Is there any connection? willing to share information.
