OBITUARY
BUD WILLIAMS
Bud Williams, 75, Brookfield died Tuesday evening (January 17, 1984) in the General John J. Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
Funeral services were held this afternoon (January 20, 1984) in Brookfield. The Rev. Kenneth Kelley, formerly of Kirksville, conducted the services. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Brookfield.
Born March 28, 1908 in Lingo, he was the son of Thomas and Sarah Holt Williams. In 1936, in New Cambria, he married Mabel Banning who preceded him in death on July 16, 1979. On July 23, 1980, in Linneus, He married Agnes Cordray who survives. Also surviving are one son, Edgar E. Williams Sr. of Brookfield; three daughters, Billie E. Troeger of Utica, Carolyn Moore of Purdin and Dapheny Troeger of Brookfield; two step-sons; one brother, Virgil Williams; one sister, Evelyn Brandon; 15 grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Tate Williams; one step-son; four brothers; one half-brother and two sisters.

RITES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. WILLIAMS
Mrs. Mabel Williams, 206 West Clayton, died Monday evening at St. Francis Hospital in Marceline.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hill Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Kelley with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mabel Anna Marie Williams was born Dec. 22, 1906 at St. Catharine to Zera and Mabel Anna Marie (Morris) Banning. In 1925 she married William T. Hiland. She married Bud Williams in 1936.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Billie) Troeger of Utica, Mrs. Dean (Carolyn) Moore of Purdin, Mrs. Kenneth (Dapheny) Troeger of Brookfield; two sons, Jack Hiland of Quincy, Ill., and Edgar Williams of Brookfield; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jerry Williams and Gene Hiland; and two brothers.
