Hi Bonnie, I read the book "King's Mt. and it's Heroes". In It they said he was a Private in Col. Campbells Unit and was wounded in the battle. I live about 150 miles north of Shelby Co. But I do get down there once in a while. Did you see my posting on Neal Cemetery, message #233? William A. Banning is there but I haven't found my Grandmothers grave yet, and I went to her funeral. I think it may be in Price Cemetery.Talk to you later.
