I hope the following information will offer some help to those of you who are researching the Banning family tree. The information was taken from a "Banning" family bible through a letter that was written to my mother in 1985. The writer was Dortha Wilkinson, granddaughter of Juda (Julie) "Lizzie" Elizabeth Banning & George Washington Cooper.

(twins) (Ann was killed in a tornado in Waldenburg, Ark. late 1950, early 1960)

(she was called Aunt Nervie)

Nancy J. Banning born November 15, 1878
Charles W. Banning born August 5, 1880
Juda Elizabeth Banning born Dec. 14, 1883
(Julie was born Halfway, Missouri)
Jemime Florence Banning born Jan. 16, 1887
Unnamed Infant Son born October 13, 1875
Juda (Julie) "Lizzie" Elizabeth Banning and George Washington Cooper were my great-grandparents. I remember visiting their home often during my childhood, as they didn't pass away until I was in my early 20's.
