BANNER or MOUSER Family Trait ?

I am a decendent of Eve Banner and Jacob Mouser. Jefferson Co. WV. to Marion Co. Ohio early 1800's.

I have traced a family trait to the Children of Eve Banner and Jacob Mouser. The trait is that the last joint on the pointer finger is either stiff or the finger ends there. It can skip generations. I don't have it but my children do have it.

Anyone out there heard of this in their family?
