Peter, just read your message with interest since I've had a difficult time in my search of a BANNATYNE in my family. I wonder if you could advise where I could do more research to learn more about this individual. By the way this occurred in CUBA in the city of Matanzas in Matanzas Province around the 1900's.
Here is what I know; My mother's maiden name is Zeida RUFFIN b.11/26/1914 in the City of Matanzas, Matanzas Province CUBA, her father is Carlos RUFFIN and his parents are Anacleto RUFFIN and Catalina BANNATYNE and Catalina's mothers surname is BARNARD.
