Hi Santiago, I have a lot of information on the Arran Bannatynes. However, it is not clear whether this would be of interest to you. There appear to be two separate branches of bannatynes with no known links between the two. The Bute Bannatynes are a very old family and were for a time the second-ranking family on the island. The Bannatynes from Larnackshire, Scotland I know very little about. Like the other Scottish families, large numbers of Bannatynes left Scotland in the nineteenth century to escape rural poverty, find fortune, etc. There is another list, on which may have some useful information and links to information. If you can provide a link to the Arran Bannatynes, then I might be able to help. Cheers peter
