Cynthia, thanks! I appreciate so much the help you have given me and other Bankson/Bankston researchers. The Kalm pages were most helpful!I'm working now on Joseph, 1696-1732. His father, Anders Bengtsson, died when Joseph was nine.He moved to Baltimore when he was 25.His wife was named Hannah, don't have her maiden name yet. She might have been Welsh, as they accounted for about one-third of the colony's population. Another large group was the German Mennonites. And of course the English and Swedes. So lots of possibilities. No marriage record found as yet.Lawrence Bankson, Joseph's nephew, was associated with the Hendricks family in the Border Disputes, but I've seen no record of Joseph being involved. This dispute raged through the 1730's, but Joseph was dead by 1732. So still many loose ends! That's what makes it fun!Martha
