Rose Marie, thanks for your reply! Charlie Bangs has been such a mystery. Will see if I can find that book at our PubLibe, but in the meantime, here are some details.
Charlie was said to be a cousin of my grandmother, Elinor ("Ella") Bedell, who married Wm. H. Deardorff. In fact, they were married in 1892 at his daughter's home in Denver, but I have not been able to find out her name.
