Dear Virginia:
I have a copy of the Bangs family in America book as I am a Bangs girl. Page 196 has some very interesting information on Charles and Emma.
Please see my reply to Jedean Hopper to see where you may get a copy of this book. Please let me know if you are successful at getting the book or if I can be of more help to you.
I found this write up about charles very interesting as they mention in the book that he was 5'7' and about 170 lbs.
