Lenna,
I have an Alfred Banfield who is my great grand uncle but he was born about 1833 in Carter County, Kentucky. His parents were Zedakiah Banfield and Lavina Fugate Banfield. Could there be two Alfred in the family. Zedakiah and Lavina were both born in Kentucky.
