Hi Paul,
I have managed to find out quite a lot about Roy Banfield and his immediate family. I have your mother on the tree - Irene Old, who married George L. Mitchell, Abt. 1953 ? But that is the extent of your family. I have an extensive tree of Banfields going back to about 1700. There are over 350 Banfields on the tree. I have the tree on the programme "Family Tree Maker" and could let you have a GEDCOM or, if you have Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, I could let you have a spreadsheet version.
