L.S. Baney, b.1874, MO

My grandfather was L.S. Baney who lived in the Joplin, MO area most of his life. He retired from the Frisco Railroad after WWII. He served in the Army during the Spanish-American War. He had two brothers, one was named Chalmers who worked for a railroad in CO. Their father was Issac Baney who I believe was born in PA. My mother, Dawn Baney, was the only child who survived to adulthood and I never met any other Baney relatives. L.S. died in GA in 1970.
