Looking for information on Clayton Bane (Bain), b. abt. 1823 KY. He married a young widow, Martha J. Moore Yocum, b. abt. 1826 TN with two sons Travis T. and Matthew Berry Yocum. Clayton and Martha had children Louisa E. 1849, John C. 1859, William 1862, Price 1864, Edith 1868 according to the Pleasant Hill, Cass Co., MO 1850 and 1870 censuses.
I see from other postings in this forum that Clayton was a family name of Sylvester Bane and Richard Bane descendents.
