I think there might be something here. Nobody in my family seems to know about this, and anyone who would has passed away. My great grandmother listed that she was first married at age 19, which would have been around 1917. But she did not marry my great grandfather until after 1920. My grandfather, Lawrence, was born around 1917-1918, and his brother around 1921. I am trying to locate a birth certificate for my grandfather to see who is listed as father. I am also trying to see if I can find a marriage license, but I don't know if they would have been married in Texas or Missouri. I can do a search in Missouri, but when I contacted Texas they were less than helpful (they told me to find someone in the area to do the search for me).
