I sent a follow-up on 26 Feb but don't see it. Perhaps this will help you somewhat to have the various residences of his father Lewis Riley Bandy:
1797: Virginia
1808: Came to Tennessee with his brother Thomas according to son George M. Bandy. (Judith does not have a brother named Thomas for Jefferson. However, a Bandy website gives Cary Bandy a father named Thomas Bandy.)
1820: Humphreys Co., Tennessee
1830 & 1840: Smith Co., Tennessee
1850-1880: Macon CO., Tennessee
