What a jewel I got today in the mail from Montgomery Co., Ill. Lockey Jane Bandy's two marriage certificates, one of which on the back gives her parents. I have been out looking some but can't easily find them on Ancestry and hope someone may be able to help me.
FATHER: Isaac Bandy
MOTHER: Lucretia
In her marriage license to Mr. Matthias Hefley, two places say Mrs. Lockie Jane Bandy and one place says Miss Lockie J. Bandy. They were married 8 Jan 1865 in Montgomery Co., IL.
On the marriage certificate for Oliver Bewley and Mrs. Lockey J. Hefley, on the back there are 17 questions:
#9. Full name of BRIDE: Mrs. Lockey J. Hefley
Maiden name, if a widow, Bandy
#10. Place of residence North Litchfield, Montg Co., Ills.
#11. Age next birthday, 55 years . . .
#12. Place of Birth: Tennessee

#14. Mother's maiden name Lucretia
#15. No. of Bride's Marriage Second
#16. Married at the Brides Residence in the County of Montgomery, and State of Illinois, the 12 day of Feby, 1880.
#17. Witnesses to Marriage: Jacob N. Lemons. ?? M. Lemons.
