Dear Alf: Thank you again for your information. You are such a treasury of knowledge. All I know is that the baptisms of Mary and of her siblings show George as their father and she was always known as Mary Bancroft though she also used Harper at times. I think I may have found Richard's parents. That leaves me with Jane as I have found 3 sites for her baptism and a 4th site for the marriage of her parents. She seems to have come to Shaw out of the clouds. At any rate thank you again. God bless you. James
