I am related to Lt. Thomas Bancroft. My records indicate that Thomas Bancroft was b. 10 Feb 1622 in Enfield, Harford, Connecticut. Is this correct? His father, John Bancroft was b. 1592 in Swarkston, Derby, England and d. 1637 in South Hampden, Suffolk, New York. Some sources say he died in 1637 in Lynn Massachusetts. Do you know which is correct?

The line goes through John b. 1521 in Chellaston, Derbyshire, England, Ralph b. 1547 Chellaston,Derbyshire, England, Thomas b. 1570 Swarkston, Derbyshire, England, John b. 1592 Derby, England, Thomas b. 1622 Swarkston, Derbyshire, England, Samuel b. 1667 Enfield, Hartford, Connecticut, Nathaniel b. 1703 South Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut, Abner b. 1739 Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut, Eli b. Abt 1772 East Hartford, Windsor, Connecticut, and William b.1802 East Windsor, Hartford Connecticut (some sources say Canada/New York).
William is my great great grandfather.
I have been trying to find out information on William and Eli, with little success. Your line may not include any of my linage, but if it does do you have information on them. I am particularly looking for the parents of William's wife Mary Ann (Laird) Bancroft, b. 2 Apr 1811 in Canada (some sources say Scotland) and d. 23 May 1885 in Tecumsah, Lenawee Co., Michigan.
