I'm sorry I've not responded before this. I've been in hospital and rehab. the last couple of weeks.

I read the book on John Adams - - -a great read - - -and in that book came to know of CYA Edward Bancroft. If I'm not mistaken, he was in the line of John's brother Thomas, both of them being sons of immigrants John and Jane.

I find it hard to believe that there are no people on line who can relate to the brother John. I'll keep trying.
