Hi
I am trying to find some info on Daniel BANCROFT d. 1865 Alexandria,LA. I have contacted NARA and they are unable to find any military records on him. His family were all in Sparta, Kent Co., MI at the time so I am assuming that he was in the CW. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
