Dear Duane,
I have several Bancrofts in Toledo in your time frame of late 1800s to 1900s.....also in Michigan area There were 12 children born to James Henry Bancroft son of Leonard Bancroft of Locke,NY...James married Lydia Jane Collins abt 1850....any one could be your relative I believe......if I can help I would need some dates if possible......my Bancroft line goes back to MA and England through John and Jane......
