Hi Susan
Your inquirey rang a bell so I looked up Samuel and unfortunely I only have the fact that he died at Aylmer. His father Edmund is a brother of our grandfather Judge Samuel Bancroft (who also moved to Canada)Caleb,and Rev. Aaron. Edmund and Aaron were Minute Men at the battle of Lexington. It's an interesting family. I can provide Samuel's siblings and Edmunds siblings etc if you don't already have it. Juanita
