I have a business leger of Isaac Bancroft (B. 1776) who was a Leather Tanner in Lexington. The leger is dated 1801 thru 1804.
It lists births, deaths and marriages in the back.
It is also accompanied with a family picture. The leger was found in Cantrall, Illinois in the 50's.
IT COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE POSSESSION OF A DECENDANT NAMED BROWN AS THERE IS ALSO A POSTCARD OF PRESIDENT TAFT ADDRESSED TO OSCAR BROWN.

Isaac was married to Mercy.
Children were;

Prudence
Stillborn daughter
Lucinda
Jonathon
Alma
Isaac
Joseph
Timothy
Benjamin
Harmon. 1821

Some later names are;
Martha Louisa
Maggie Elizabeth and Edward Thayer (twins?) 1860
