My gggrandmother is Elizabeth Bancroft Eldred,b 1805, probably in Nelson Twsp.Portage Co. OH. She is buried there in a Bancroft area of the cemetery. I have not been able to establish which of the Bancrofts that settled there is her father. You mention a woman named Newsome who has information about the Bancrofts. Could you tell me how I can get in touch with her.
