Aaron Bancroft was a brother of Samuel Bancroft III, our ancestor. Aaron's son George was also the Sec of Navy under Pres. Polk and established Annapolis Naval Academy. The History Channel did a program on the academy and showed a picture of George and is available for 19.95. He also wrote the History of the U.S. which is several volumes and available in many University libraries. You have great ancestors.
