I have been told that a great great grandmother was related to Irish Royalty of the Bancroft family. a Baron we are told. That a daughter had run off and married a coachman. This would be of the William Powers family . He was born 14 Dec 1834 in Gaultiere Waterford Ireland. He came to USA in ABT 1841 with his parents. His father was Martin and mother unknown. They were in Pottsville PA where Martin ( the grandson) married Mary Craigin.
