WOW !!!! Just found this board....hello Cousins........
Am researching my paternal branches....I have Jesse in MA and then in NY in the 1800 census in Onondaga Co.....in 1830 he's in Cayuga with son Rev.Leonard BANCROFT who married LaVena SHERMAN and had my gg Grandfather James Henry BANCROFT who married Lydia Jane COLLINS 1st wife.....Next was Mary J. ?then on to Rev.Elmer Sherman BANCROFT>Rev.James Henry BANCROFT>and my father Robert Lyle BANCROFT....the first James Henry had 12 children so there must be alot of us out there........Jesse died in MI in April of 1850 in Clinton Co. of consumption at the age of 76......anyone know his parents or sibs in MA.......Or WIFE ?
