My great-great grandparents were Capt. George and Ellen Bancroft Post. They were married around 1870. They had a daughter Jennie Izette Post born around 1890.(Who married Frederick Manning Cummings in April of 1903 in Nova Scotia.) They may have lived in the states (Maine or Mass?) prior to her marriage. Does anyone have any info on Bancrofts in this part of the US or Canada?
