I have the following connection in my files:

12a. Gerrit/Gerardus BANCKER (B# 343), b. Apr 1, 1706; Albany, NY, d. < Feb 27, 1745) m. Oct 31, 1731, NYC, Maria de Peyster (see 12a below) (b. Jan 20, 1706), a dau of Johannes de Peyster and Anna Bancker, therefore, first cousin to Gerardus. She m2. lic Jun 14, 1753, Joseph Ogden of Newark, NJ (no issue). Gerardus was a Lt under Col Philip Schuyler in the Albany County Militia. He settled in NYC

12a4. Johannes/John BANCKER (B# 345), b. Feb 22, 1738, bp. Feb 22, 1738; m. Jun 6, 1764, Altje Mesnard, dau of Francis Mesnard and Alida van Duersen; m2. (?) Apr 19, 1778, Geertruyd Jacobi; m3. ca. 1780 (?) Catharine Stevens. He l Little Dock St, NYC and, 1776, 310 pounds of lead sash weights were taken from his house. 2nd Lt, Rangers, 1st Bat of NY, Col Lasher. L Poughkeepsie, and Ulster Co. Was, Col Johannes Jansen's Rgt of Ulster Co. He signed a Land Bounty Right, 1785.

12a41. Francis Mesnard BANCKER, bp. Apr 8, 1765. Ulster Co, NY, Priv, Apr 30, 1782, -Jan 1, 1783, Capt John L. Hardenberg's Co, Lt Col Frederick Weissenfel's Rgt of Levies, Land Bounty Right of 200 acres. Patriot.

Yes, this line did come from Albany.
