Hi John,

I have gotten as far back as my grandfather, and his brother, William Bancker. My grandfather was Kenneth Bancker who was the Staten Island Zoo's main keeper back in the early 70's. He died in '75, William died in '72. He also had a brother named Russell
There also is alot of info in the Manhatten library on the Bancker family. At one time Water St. in Manhatten was called Bancker St at one time. Anything new you find out please let me know. Were planning to make a trip to Ellis Island soon.
