Banas Family Genealogy Forum

I am trying to find relatives in the area of East Prussia, my g-grandfather (Hireronymus Franz Banas) dissapperet around 1920, leaving my grandfather and his 2 sisters, Wolfgang, Ursula and Felicita Banas. They all lived in the town of Breslau, now called Vroclaw in south east Poland. My grandfather and his family are now living in Germany and I myself am living in Denmark, and as far as I know, my closest family are the only Banas people in Denmark.
Are there any other Banas people with relatives in any of these areas?
I am allso interestet in clues on the origin of our name??? I know that there are different landmarks around the world named Banas, a river in north India, a peninsula in Egypt. I dont believe these things have a relavans to my surname but it is funny, to see our rare and strange names in these places.
All the best to all the Banas poeple out there
