Dear Eduard,
I've just started research on my family. I found your letter refering to Kijov. My great-grandfather and his wife emigrated to the US in the 1880's from Kijov. It was then part of Austria-Hungary. Her name was Anna Banas, his was Mike Duzenack. I'm not sure if it was your town, as I've found references to others of the same name.
Wow! we could be related...Are there still Duzenacks in the area? Can you tell me more about the town?
