I am wondering if we are looking for the same family. I have been struggling to make the connection between my Canadian Bambers and the English ancestors. I am suspicious that I have found them but not sure and maybe you can help.

I am a Bamber by birth. My gggfather Richard Bamber was born in Lancashire in 1815. He had sisters Anna, Elizabeth (I think), and brothers Thomas, William, John and Edward. His parents were Edward and Margaret (?Wilkinson). I was wondering whether Edward's parents were Thomas and Ann (Drinkel).

Why do you think Edward settled in Ontario?

Let me know and I can supply info on the Edward Bamber side.
